Promenade?!?
what would be our initial reaction when we hear this word? of course, it is already set in our mind that promenade is a series of walking steps in a square dance or maybe it is the opening of a formal ball in which all the guests participate in a stately march.
last Friday, February 15, we celebrated our Juniors-Senoirs Prom. we started it right but all i can say is that our JS Prom last year was much much better than this year. it is because of the decorations and maybe because there were lesser songs that had been played and the songs were not that really good. hehehe
we were also shocked because this year there were no longer the Mr. and Ms. Juniors Prom and Mr. and Ms. Seniors Prom, only theMr. and Ms. JS Prom 2008. but is't just okay because even if we were not that satisfied with all the happenings that happened on that night, we still enjoyed dancing and shouting while on the dance floor especially when the song was for a group dance.
After our JS Prom, I together with Derikka and Mark Linn slept at Xandra's house. we couldn't sleep early so we shared our own stories about our first dance and everything under the sun. hehehe. but we woke up late so we were not able to attend the seminar of Red Cross Youth(RCY). so we decided to go and eat mangoes at Paing specifically at Rechiel's house. Honestly speaking the mangoes were so delicious...MmmMMmm!!yummy!!!

we have lot of things to do this month!

We are running out of time. I have to finish my projects before the periodical test (February 25-26). Oh no, I haven't started anything yet...

Lord, help me.

I just hope that I can finish all those things before the deadline.

Anyway, I already finished my movie. Thank you to my friends for helping me. hehehe(I have a secret behind in dong this). Honestly speaking, we were really hard up in making our movies because before we make our individual movie, we need to make and finish a movie with a group but thanks God, Ma'am Eve told us that we will just do our individual movie, so we were very happy when we heard that.

Actually, I have learned a lesson that I must do and finish my tasks before the deadline comes.

Now, I know already how to make a movie using Windows Movie Maker. I can make my own now.

We are already in our 3rd grading period.

...~...

Few months more, we will part ways. For now, i am avoiding talking about our graduation day because i'll surely miss my teachers, batchmates, classmates and of course my bestfriend and friends.

on the other part, we have already gone far from our lesson in our TLE IV. We are now making the so called "moviemaker."Sadly, last year, December 11-14, 2007, my companion and i were not abLE to finish our web design. it is because we were lacking time, not only that but also because at those times and days there was no internet.

Until now, we have not yet finished our web design. But we will not give up finishing our tasks. We will continue it and end up with a wonderful outcome.

I thank the Lord, our teacher, Mrs. Evelyn Vera Cruz and friends with thier continuous support in doing all those things.

it's about time to make

a new post...

it's also about time to end the second grading period...

as i have said in my previous post, for the whole quarter, we had the different HTML tags...

it was fun learning all of those things..

i'm glad that those are our lessons because i am able to apply them when i'm doing some things in the internet...

more importantly, i'm now so proud of myself because i am no longer ignorant about those things..

i would say that i didn't have much problem on my activities because i was really careful and alert during the conduction of those...

luckily, i did not become a cross-eyed person after doing them...

i am fortunate for having a "clear" vision as of now for i can do the activities as fast as i could without any mistake... =)

i just hope it would still be clear after this school year..

i would say that i am now good, but, of course, i still want to be better so i hope i'll have time to practice during my spare time...

i expect more challenging and more enjoyable activities next grading period...

i'm really having fun with the HTML tags...

anyway, we'll be having our semestral break next week...

For our 2nd grading period, we have learned all about the Basic HTML, how does the web works, how does the browser fetch the pages, how does the browser display the pages and the different HTML tags. Writing and knowing the different tags are interesting to learn especially when you know the descriptions.

The problems that I have encountered were typing all the different tags carefully and surely so that I won't commit mistake.

I addressed these problems with the help of my friends and classmates, and of course, with the guidance from Ma'am Evelyn.

Moving on I will continue exploring different kinds of tags and their descriptions, I will continue exploring different kinds of templates for my blog and most especially, I will continue to love my neighbors, bestfriend, friends and my family.Hehehehe....

  For the last two weeks of our first grading period, Ihave learned how to make my own BLOG. Not only on how to make blog but also I have learned the types of a blog,the advantages of blogs to us, students and the examples of portfolio metrics like number of visitors, number ofposts, number of comments, number of inward links, geographical distribution of users, number of feed readers and number of aggregators. Through this, I can earn more friends and through this also I can communicate with other people whom I did not meet yet...

• The problems/challenges that I have encountered were: When the time came that we uploaded photos and when we made our own blog. Also, when we were thinking on what to write/put in our blogs.

• I addressed these challenges by believing in myself that I can do it. If others can, why can't I?!

• Moving on I will continue improving my blog..hehehe.. Moving on I will continue exploring and visiting others blog so that I can earn more friends...THANK YOU!!!

1. What are the new learnings/discoveries that I have learned?
- There are lot of things that I have learned in our subject, TLE IV. Our main focus is INTERNET,not only the internet itself but also the whole wide world of internet . I learned the history of the internet, when did the INTERNET born, who were the contributors of the discoveries, and how to use the internet better, easier and faster. I have learned also the MAJOR COMPONENTS OF INTERNET like the web server and browser, the data types,protocols, how to use search engines and many many more. I find internet so interesting and fun to learn.

2. What are the problems/challenges that I have encountered?
- The only problem I have encountered I think was on our first activity, mining the internet, it was so hard for me to search terms/words just to answer the questions that ma'am Evelyn gave us.

3. How did I address these challenges?
- I addressed this challenge by just believing in my own talent that I can do everything no matter what the problem I have, and just by trusting God that He is always there for me when I need Him.

4. Moving on I will...
- Moving on I will do my best to do all the things better, to study harder and explore more things that I still don't know and most especially, to be good to others.
